Help us preserve more

Royalty Free Text is a mirror, not a warehouse. We host vetted public-domain editions, preprocess them for comfortable reading on phones, and measure our progress honestly in the Coverage Atlas above. Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks do indispensable digitization work; almost nobody has bothered to make that corpus genuinely pleasant to read on the device most people actually use.

The books are free in law. You are not paying for text you already own. Optional support helps us expand the library, improve the reader, and preserve more titles in readable form before they drift into formats that are technically free but practically unusable on mobile.

Royalty Free Text is a commercial project of Localhost Limited. Support is voluntary and is not tax-deductible.

Supporter tier, coming soon

We are planning an optional Supporter tier (~£3–5/mo, plus one-off options). Supporters help us grow the library: more preserved titles, a better reading experience, and progress on the Coverage Atlas.

Payments are not live yet. We are preparing Stripe checkout, but we will not accept supporter payments until accounts are in place. Perks like ad-free reading need an email-linked account so we can honor them reliably; we will not take money without that foundation.

When checkout opens, you will sign in with your email, choose monthly or one-off support, and your perks will follow your account. Stripe handles card details; we receive only what we need to grant and manage supporter status.
